While many written statements by prestigious and proven institutions such as UNICEF, where a great majority of people around the world cause severe mental retardation in newborn babies and mothers-to-be due to iodine deficiency, the researches made are the easiest and fastest solution to this problem. As a result, it was shown that salt, which is indispensable for our tables, comes before us by iodized.

The salt iodization application, which can be implemented instantly with a legal decision and in case of communication with all the factory managers that produce salt in our country, is expected with interest from doctors who are interested in all healthy living issues to citizens. The fact that we are aware of the seriousness of the incident increasing day by day and that we are following the issue as citizens who take care of all their health has reached the point of the future of our country. When the issue of iodine deficiency is discussed, the first risk group that catches the eye is women, mothers-to-be, newborn babies and children, who are in the most productive age of the reproductive period.

Until the age of 1, the baby does not need salt and it should not be given for his health. This is because these ages are a decisive period in terms of blood pressure disease that may develop in later ages due to excessive sodium, that is, salt consumption.
