Thousands of babies are born prematurely every year around the world. Compared to babies born on time, these premature babies may have some problems in their respiratory systems or eyesight. However, it is possible to reach the level of their peers in an average of 3 years when the right treatment methods are applied by showing the necessary sensitivity to these babies.

Although it is known as premature, especially with low weight, among the people, it actually refers to those born before the time of premature baby.

It is not possible to generalize that serious health problems will occur in every premature baby. The severity of health problems in a premature baby varies according to the birth week of the baby. These babies must be born in a health center with seven newborn intensive care units.

Babies enter the limit of life after the 23rd week under normal conditions. The period from this period to the 32nd week is very important.

After birth, the baby is taken to the incubator. Since these babies are extremely sensitive to temperature changes in the environment, temperature control is provided in the incubator. Even if they are born with developed lungs, the breathing they take may not be enough. There is a much faster and irregular breathing than normal.

The feeding of babies in the incubator stage is also provided with serum for a while, not by mouth.

The baby is discharged from the incubator when the baby's regular breathing reaches 2 kilos. In these babies, eye control should be done after the 5th week. Because there is a high probability that the eye vessels are not developed. This can cause vision problems.
