RAISING AND NOT RAISING HOMOPHOBIC CHILDREN

Homophobia: hateful attitude towards homosexuals and homosexuality. Homophobia, which starts as discrimination in society and is the cause of many violence and murders, is one of the thoughts that should not be defended and instilled in children.

Children should be instilled in the idea that a person's decisions do not concern him as long as they do not affect another person, and that there is no harm in including unharmed behaviors and thoughts in society. This attitude towards people's right to live will ensure that your child will not have difficulties in his later life, that he can express himself freely in the society, and that he will not build a wall between himself and you when he realizes that he is LGBT.

MY CHILD MAY LIKE LGBT:

Families who think that their choices will change when their child respects LGBT are also included in our society. When no child respects the life of another, he or she is not eager to be like him. While homophobic individuals think that they do not even have the right to live, individuals who respect homosexuality support the other person to live freely and as they want.

LGBT is not a contagious disease or a fashion item to emulate. Fearing that your child will be like them while respecting LGBT people shows that you have psychological problems and you are not right-thinking parents.

I DO NOT ACCEPT RELIGIOUSLY:

Not every thought is among the ideas that can be accepted by everyone in the society. There are dozens of different beliefs in the world. While you believe in one religion, someone else may or may not believe in a different religion. Whether or not LGBT is compatible with your religion or not is your concern, but you have an obligation to show respect in order to ensure peace and equality in the world.

While you are aware that people's choices do not depend on you, you should prevent your child from growing up as an individual who is pro-violence, against free thought, and who thinks that he or she has all rights.

HOMOPHOBIA IS NOT HARMFUL:

Homophobia, like many phobic behaviors and thoughts, is quite harmful. The presence of your children in their social environment with this view will cause harm to themselves or another person.

BEHAVIORS IN HOMOPHOBIC CHILDREN:

Against LGBT's:

behaviors such as In another situation, your child's behavior will disturb you parents, but when it comes to someone else's lifestyle and preferences, supporting them shows that you are not good parents and that you are raising homophobic children. In such cases, it is very important for your child and you to receive psychological support for your quality of life and the accuracy of your thoughts.

HOW HOMOPHOBIC IS MY CHILD?

If you are not homophobic parents and you observe this situation in your child, there are tests for this. In the homophobia scale test applied to 511 university students in Italy, it was observed that other characteristic features of many students were also revealed.

Although many ideas seem simple, they are part of a chained system. Raising individuals who do not respect people is one of the worst things you can do to yourself and your child. In today's world where dozens of people are fighting for their lives, the freedom to live someone else's life should not be in unconscious parents and children.

Every self-respecting parent should raise individuals who are not hostile to different opinions. Where he walks, how he lives, with whom he lives, his right, wrong, choices and lifestyle are only of concern to the person responsible for that life. At this time when everyone has to live with their own right and wrong, you should prevent your children from growing up as aggressive, restless, hostile and belligerent individuals. It is seen that healthy thinking parents give birth to healthy and non-aggressive individuals. Being a good parent is measured not only by love but also by a little bit of respect.
