WEIGHT GAIN IN CHILDREN

Weight gain is one of the physical events that individuals of all ages experience more or less in certain periods. In children, during developmental periods and adolescence, weight gain is easier and faster than the normal weight gain rate. In order to avoid health problems, it is very important to keep weight gain under control and to undergo frequent health screenings during this period.

Some children experience weight gain, which comes with puberty, while others experience unhealthy nutrition that has become a habit from a young age. In such cases, the weight gained is included in the weight gain class due to malnutrition, not with development. It can bring with it a number of health problems and obesity.

WHAT IS WRONG NUTRITION?

Malnutrition does not mean only eating with junk food. Meals eaten at the wrong time, excessive fatty foods, night snacks, single-meal nutrition, irregular diet, excessive food consumption also mean malnutrition.

Malnutrition in children usually occurs as a result of unconscious parental behaviors. While many parents support their children to eat from the canteen during the school period, they do not consider the harmful substances in packaged foods and foods that are not known how they are produced. As a result of this situation, diabetes, obesity and many other diseases occur in children.

HOW CAN I PREVENT MY CHILD FROM WRONG NUTRITION?

Children are quite amenable individuals due to their age and character in the formation process. How you eat and create your lifestyle, your child will also keep up with this order. You can make your children adopt your rights and wrongs by talking to them and using a language appropriate for their age group. The way many children acquire a diet at a young age, they strive for the formation of this order both in their families and in their environment in the future.

If you do not want your child to be malnourished and reach unhealthy weights, you can teach him that there will be meals at certain times in the house and that nutrition will not be provided outside of these meals. A well-organized meal schedule is very important for both health and biological clocks. As many experts have stated, meals eaten late can cause problems in the digestive system. In order to prevent such situations, it will be effective to create certain meal times in the family.

With the lunch box application, you can prevent your child from consuming unhealthy and unknown foods. Many children at a young age prefer foods that they will consume frequently because they will not benefit their health and at the same time will not fill their stomachs due to advertisements and colorful packaging. The only way to prevent this is to prepare a suitable lunch box for your child or to take advantage of the cafeteria service according to your living conditions. At the same time, having working mothers and fathers keep home-made food in the cupboard will be an effective method for the child not to choose ready meals after school.

NUTRITIONAL BAG OR DINING ROOM

The lunch box has been one of the methods preferred by many students and parents for many years. Ensuring that your child carries as much food as he or she can consume during the day while going to school or course is one of the most effective ways to create a diet.

* nuts
* Fruit
* Milk
* Toast
* Vegetables
* Home meal
* Raw vegetables

It is among the foods that your child can easily carry with him. As long as you choose the foods that he will love and can consume, your child will not be too lazy to carry his food with him.

The cafeteria, on the other hand, is one of the diet systems preferred by many families depending on the service of the school. If you have a correct and clean dining hall, this way will ensure that your child is fed regularly.

Whichever method you choose, it is important that you make the right choices for your child's development and health. The fact that families are aware of this issue and pay attention to their diet will affect the child both psychologically and physiologically throughout his life. According to the saying you become what you eat, people are shaped by what they eat.
